The artist, Di Goring has always been interested in fairness, justice and us striving for an equitable world. Her previous career as a social worker has been reflected in her artwork recently and surprisingly she has found herself to be an activist. As she began to conclude her degree, her social conscience prompted her to research why so many children in this country were dying when there was public care involvement, that should have served to protect them.
The outcomes of extensive research resulted in her recent art exhibition featured on the front page. She was overwhelmed by the response to the exhibition and now hopes to make a video of her findings that may help serve as a preventive tool or training video. She hopes that the exhibition can develop further and tour in Colleges and Universities where there are courses for Health and Social Care practitioners.
